A lot has changed in 2 years. Stopped watching all sports and I was avid. I don't even relate on the same level with my friends anymore.

Took a taxi yesterday. Guy wouldn't stop gushing about how he's already gotten his 2nd shot. I didn't know what to say except sit in silence.

Took a flight and had a gaiter on. Some agent literally sprinted at me with a mask. It was startling. Behind her was another agent who closed the gap within 5 seconds. They word vomited the covid national anthem at me. Something about how I needed to wear their mask instead of mine or there would be a huge fine. Flabbergasted.

Listening in on a zoom call, I realize my wifes entire family is batshit crazy. They were praying for companies to take a hard line position and force their employees get the shot or lose their job.

I don't even join my family zoom anymore. They are so far gone into the videodrome cult, I can't even get a word in. Last I got on a call was 5 months ago. I don't understand why family zooms are a thing now. We didn't talk for years and suddenly im expected to chat with 10 people every week with a fucking elephant in the room that nobody will talk about

Everyone is in a mass delusional psychosis.

Its like the invasion of the body snatchers. They got my family. Its an awful feeling.

I'm really sorry about the family, friend. I don't know how you're coping with it, I hope your wife is on your side of things? I can't imagine doing a video call with two people, much less ten. There would be zero quality in conversation.

Sounds like you live in a city. Any way you could get out? Maybe find some like minded individuals?

Stopping sports was a great move. Did you replace it with anything positive for you?

Literally, I walk out of rooms now when family or normies starts one of their tantrum rants. It's just not healthy to stay.

These brainwashed ppl start out by throwing punches in all directions. "If you think X Y or z, or you don't think something else, or whatever - you're a moron/racist/asshole."

Why would I sit and take the abuse? To have no one be talking about anything, then aunt Karen starts ranting, in no short terms, that I must be an idiot for some inane reason she heard the politics box scream at her.

I just don't get it. Sure I have negative thoughts about other people. Absolutely. But I don't go over to their house and start screaming that thought in their face to try to upset them. I just think it and move on. But there's something wrong with these people - I don't even know if we can call them lefties or libs cuz it definitely happens with Republicans/righties too. But there's this large % of the population, I'm guessing 60-95%, who have been totally ensnared by some propaganda in the media and they have to be militant about it. Even against friends and family.

I've found so much more satisfaction in solitude this year than ever before. I just don't care to be around people. Hopefully in a few months the theater will be over, people's boredom and unrest will cause the illusion to finally shatter and we go back. But those of us who see things for a little bit more what they really are, we're never going to have that innocence of thinking the way we used to.

And yeah I don't watch sports anymore either. Never really did, but now I actively avoid them. Can't wait till we start seeing the narrative turn to how you're a nazis if you don't watch pro sports

Hang in there bud. It will get worse as it gets better. The enemy is going rabid now as the earth shifts towards a positive future.

Right now the normies think the vax will give them their lives back, hence why they are so crazy about it. Some will realize in the future, later in the year, that the enemy has no intention of reversing its trap. Of course they will blame it on some hillbillies "out there" that are somehow responsible for continually transmitting millions of cases.

I am glad for you that your wife is on your side. We are reaching a climax as the enemy wants to force its hand. Too many people are waking up and they know they have to go now or never. Stay strong, we will win.

I don't understand why most people talk about anything. Almost every topic is inane bullshit that's just meant to fill the silence for worse. When someone comes up and asks you about your weekend, they don't give a shit, they just want you to ask them about theirs. Most people don't even listen to what you say, they have what they are gonna say already loaded up and on deck and didn't hear a word you uttered. In all my 40 years I've know only 2 people who when they asked you something about your life, actually gave a fuck, because they were genuine people.

I'm sorry that you've had so few genuine people in your life. I have also experienced that. I genuinely do care when I ask. But I find that there are so few that I care to ask these days.

Don't ask if you don't care. That's my rule. They're are people at work that I ask about their time & others that I don't.

Imagine being in the mind of someone who never freethinks

It seems shockingly common. People just never question, have no curiosity, never like and prod into logic and reason and philosophy and whatnot.

I wonder if it's like being perpetually drunk, or if I'm romanticizing it. It's ironic, because wondering about it puts you in a free thinking state of mind, so even the endeavor itself prevents you from understanding
