This is essentially what is fueling the population spike in India and other parts of the east. When you think about it, it is extremely incentivizing when your victim is forced to choose between being beheaded/stoned and being forced to marry her attacker assuming she gets a choice. As fucked up as people claim it is, it effects on population are undeniable
