I've met some Hispanics who hate the Democrat party and hate illegal immigration.
As have I. And, like the "based blacks", they so often vote Democrat.
The whole "muh based Cubans who escaped Castro" is a myth, in no small part because Cuban emigres are known to lie about having escaped Castro (eg: Ted Cruz & Marco Rubio's parents), but even if there were truth in it, there is a greater truth that their kids are just as leftist as any other minority group, and they vote accordingly.
Brown people are drawn to socialism like moths to a flame, it's who they are.
No, it’s true that the generation that actually escaped were hard right. Unfortunately they were also terrible parents and they raised kids who would give them grandkids who vote left. It breaks my heart, personally.

I wonder how many of that generation truly escaped. We know that Marco Rubio's parents flat-out lied about it, and it's pretty much established that Ted Cruz's father lied about it as well.
We also know that Castro dumped all of his criminal and insane elements on us in 1980, with the "Mariel boatlift".
