Is anybody excited for the Marvel movies Phase 4? Especially with Dave Filoni having some inexplicable obsession with that bitch who plays Captain America? Only about half the movies were good, only a few were truly great, but the main plot lines are all wrapped up. I predict zero interest in them. Especially now that Hollywood has slit its throat with its insane reaction to COVID.
Oh shit, how could I forget such a memorable character? lol. Yeah, there's no way I'm paying $80 to take my family to get gay and anti-white shit rubbed in our face for an hour and a half. My wife thinks I'm exaggerating on a lot of this, but that "girl power" scene in the last movie made her cringe so hard that it killed all interest she had in the franchise in a single swoop. Heard the same from a lot of people. It's blatant pandering bullshit. Kind of the exact opposite you want when watching a fantasy movie.

Yeah, who would have guessed that no one wants to spend a relaxing night at the movies in a hospital setting? All Regals closed like two weeks after reopening. They're in such a bubble, they thought all those "safety precautions" were a good idea. Any normal person could have seen that was a stupid idea from space. Dumb fucks.
I’ll tell you the moment that turned me off the Marvel movies as happy escapism, or at least, demonstrated to me that they’re catering to the worst aspects of the female fan base.
It’s that one little scene in Captain Marvel where she takes that guy’s bike and threatens him for daring to look at her.
Unless I’m mistaken, that part was played by a hot actor who was on True Blood, who women were drooling over only a few short years ago. Now we’re supposed to cheer as he gets his ass licked by some 6/10, angry-for-no-reason, charmless Brie Larson. But I think I’m the only person who noticed that.
Anyway. Movie theaters suck now. Movies have been going downhill for a while, but I actually really enjoy going to the theater. Not anymore. No new movies, too many restrictions and yes, too expensive. Hollywood, by cancelling all its releases last year, demonstrated to everybody that we don’t need that shit in our lives.
