Lemmings *believe* the tv is incapable of lying. They *believe* the god-box tells the truth, the whole truth (or as much as we need to be exposed to), and nothing but the truth. Sure, fox and cnn and msnbc et al might put a "spin" on a story, but that's to be expected. The media wouldn't purposely lie, because lemmings *believe* that would go against "journalistic ethics", and besides, they would "change the channel" if the tv lied to them. Point out to them that "reporters" get paid $10,000 a day or more, and they will tell you unironically that it's because the reporters are good at reporting, and have impeccable ethics. No need to think...using your brain is hard and "conspiracy, duh". Smart people like lemmings just *believe* what they are told, with the same misinformed illogic that children use to believe in Santa Claus.
