Doom is all about going to Hell and destroying demons, so it fits perfectly.

Indeed. Hard to predict what the Internet will like. Sometimes I spend hours on a meme and think they will get some serious action, and then nothing happens. Others I make in a few seconds as a goof for a one time response, and they take off and/or get repeated by someone of note.
