Honestly, I doubt it was anywhere near that well thought through. More likely he had some aide or influencer talk to him for half an hour about the benefits of vaccination back when the lockdowns hit. Now he has it stuck in his head as an original opinion. Maybe he'll talk to someone with a contrary opinion in a few months and forget he ever supported vaccines.

The "elites" want to divide people into serfs and enemies. The people craving for the jab are the perfect serfs, they will be protected. By not fighting against vaccines, Trump makes sure that not only serfs take the vaccines, so the "elites" can never be sure if somebody is really loyal to them by just looking at the vaccine passport.
