Yep, it should have been boycotted out of existence back then. Somehow, it wasn't. Coke was even considered "patriotic" because Pepsi was the company selling its swill to the commies. I still am shocked that the Soviets traded warships for Pepsi. At that point, couldn't they just have bribed some Pepsi flunkie to sell them the formula?
