What annoys me the most about this shit is these people genuinely think that they are left wing. It might be a slight oversimplification, but left wing has traditionally meant movements that represent the interests of the labour classes while right wing represents the interests of the capital classes. These people take to streets to call other labourers Nazis, and they do so with the full and unwavering support of almost every corporation, the biggest companies owned and controlled by the most powerful members of the capital classes. I’m probably more left wing than most people on here, but I honestly consider the “left wing activists” to be a lot more right wing than most of the people on here.
Great take on this. In the end both sides support the corporations. There's not a lot of talk about the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1970, but it was an incredibly destructive act. Before this congress was closed door. Congress owned legislation as a whole because individual votes were not recorded. This legislation opened the congress to the public and began recording their votes. It was sold on the premise that the public would know how their representative voted. The real result was that individuals in the congress were made more accountable to the lobbyists, not to the public. Here's a couple of quick and easy links.
