there is some debate but the original monopoly was created to show the evils of capitolism. Parker brothers did not create it. they stole it and made a fortune. and the more I learn about l;ate 1800s earl;y 1900s business and about how many of those businesses are around today. most of the 100 year old business we know today got rish off stolen ideas.
