Well... if we voted on a particular mode of tolerance using voting machines, I would argue that you can’t prove your position either.

In any event, what is the opposite of “tolerance”? If I have to burn the local constabulary to get anything done, I’d argue it’s more complicated than just tolerating gays.

We're tolerating it. We're letting it happen. It's not impossible to make the changes necessary to restore our country, but we're not doing that.

We can argue about the reasons why we're not doing it, but we aren't doing it, and that's a fact. Otherwise we wouldn't be here, having this conversation.
