it's Europeans fault for letting it happen / failing to stop it... but ANYONE can be subverted. no one is immune to lies and deception... but now that we've had plenty of experience with it, we should be planning to eradicate the problem and avoid it from ever happening again, regardless of the damage that's already occurred.
