Yep, Jello is a faggot. Still a great song though.

A loooooong time ago I saw his spoken word. At the end he whined about not having enough cash to fight the rest of the band for the rights to Dead Kennedys songs and he was begging for donations. Turns out he lost the case. Aww

I saw something about that in a comments of a video when I was searching for this song. The way it was worded made me think maybe it was him.

He managed everything- wrote the lyrics, made the record company to sell their music, promoted them, did their art, the entire band's character and theme was Jello. He mailed their records and everything

but when it came time to divide royalties he kept more than his share because he did pretty much everything. He also didn't want to sell their music to commercials. Levi's made an offer to use Holiday in Cambodia in a commercial and the band wanted to take it but Jello refused. I think jeans being sold to the tune of Liberals compared to the Khmer Rouge would have been a good idea though.

Holiday in Cambodia and California Uber Alles were about authoritarian liberals getting violent when they don't get their way. He also got beat up by Occupy when he tried to join them, which proved his point. He's still an asshole though.
