Huxley maybe, but the way I understand things is that Orwell had been high in the communist party and when he learned the actual plan dropped out and that inspired him to write 1984 as a warning to humanity regarding the plan that was in store for us.

Oh, ok. I didn't know that. Which, I must admit is rather embarrassing. I did my senior research paper on George Orwell in high school. I should've remembered that.
