Normies believe anything the tv tells them. The true voaters (I was a 5.5yr nigger faggot) didn't hate or want others banned. You believe in something, good! Tell my why. Those we hated/banned were those restricting free speech/thought -- aka v/canada mod, those that made 20 alt accounts and went through the logins to upvoat the other 19 etc. etc. I personally disliked all the q (great awakening) stuff but I would only downvoat replicates from the same article. I even up voated some of their shit. I personally believed that they had taken the first redpill and on Christmas Day 2020 they were anti-jew, pro-white, and wanted America to be the best.

Not a surprise voat got purged. Matter of time before this place does too.

There was something black about what voat had become. Infiltrators and black pill dealers had taken over large swaths of the site and they only used truth to spread despair and doom.

In my opinion voat had become a very popular watering hole for all sorts of different animals. And a significant number of them were downright treacherous.

I loved it. The UI here is growing on me. I still don't like how the new is default but maybe there is a way to change that. I liked whatever voat used as the first page much better. I rarely used the downvoted button so I'm not troubled by that. More of the original users are ending up here because none of the other sites come close.
