Those look nice. I really have to come to like the Spyderco feel. The hole in the blade for easy opening is very ergonomic.

The hole is pretty great on a boat with gloves on in the cold...

but the little nub thing on the Benchmade is just easier for me to open and close singlehandedly all the time regardless of weather conditions. The Spyderco always took more effort to open / close than made me happy. Additionally, for some reason I'm able to maintain a much better edge on this particular knife than any of my old Spydercos, and that was [and is] using my old Spyderco sharpening kit par excellence.

I carry a cutlass in my teeth on the boat, so a blade there is no issue!

I got the Spyderco tri-angle sharpener open box on Amazon for steal. Very happy with it. I use it for the kitchen knives more than anything and it does a bang up job.

My cutlass was rusting there, so I brought it home.

Shit, this is the perfect opportunity to try to polish the rust off!
