My newest car is 6 years old now and my other one is 11 years old. They are Toyotas and so far have no problems with either. Keeping them saves me a ton of money because my yearly registration is low and my insurance is low too. I have no plans to upgrade either vehicle. I'm not interested in owning a new car. They really don't offer me anything. I don't want a hybrid either. Choices of gas only vehicles is getting slimmer all the time. Also, all the new "features" just creates more opportunities for future problems.

One of my kids will be driving soon and right now I am trying to find a jap-mobile and even used Toyotas and Hondas are becoming a challenge to find at a reasonable price. I've tossed around the idea of a used Lexus (I am talking 5+ years or older) and give that one my car. I will never again buy UAW made trash so I am sticking with the japs.
