Looking at the details, Job openings increased in retail trade (+155,000) and in durable goods manufacturing (+50,000)
I didn't see a mention of service/food industry jobs, but you'd think they are up there too.

To add some anecdotal, I looked for a job and was unable to land one. I was applying to some retail and service jobs, and other than a few inquiries for more information, I was unable to find one.
