It's kind of a "pretend sanctions" game at this point, I mean they are like let's go full spectrum sanctions on the russian and a week or two later it's exceptions at every level and in the end you get half assed sanctions, as if they were realizing just now that they can't really afford the sanctions game after all

Or they use their political positions to profit off of circumventing sanctions. Think of all the Syrian oil that moved through Turkey with the help of the CIA. Ot the heroin from Afghanistan. We will still import Russian oil, it will just be under another flag.
