GM has a loyalty because it's the "American" car company. I don't particularly like their cars myself, I've never had one go 100,000 without some major problem. But people do love them. So yes - I've been keeping an eye on them and have some cash to buy if they dip during the mess in the months to come.

I'm still rocking my 2013 Impala LTZ. :)

Only 84k miles tho. But hell It's paid for and is still pretty nice.

I only have 10 shares of GM atm, but I'm looking to add.

I'm driving my 07 Focus. 213,000 so far, only out-of-band repair was a $100 sensor that took me 5 minutes to replace. Everything else has been "yeah, it's worn out from mileage" repairs.

Last GM I had was an 89 Skylark. Just after 100k the timing gear broke in half.

Nice. That's pretty impressive.

I never owned anything built by the big three in the 80s. It seemed like they all had quality issues.
