All of my planned options trades went out the window this morning after we opened +1500!

I'm totally fine with that! lmaooooo

Still made some nice realized gains on KSS and SLV options today, and the long positions looking good. Might take profits on CDR today. Idk yet.

Just remember: The two happiest days in a boat owner's life is the day they buy it, and the day they sell it.

Been there and done that. Still an experience I wouldn't give up.

We had a small fishing boat, no more than an aluminum shell really. I have to admit, taking it out on the lake during one of those warm spring days when everything was acid green was always a treat, especially right at dusk when the peepers would start singing.

Because you're selling it for a bigger boat!

:)

We use the boat a lot actually.

That's good. I see a lot of boats get bought and then they go...what are we going to do with this?

The key for us was getting one that you can sleep on during the weekend, and docking it close to home. If you have to trailer it, it's kind of a pain in the ass.

Idunno about that one. Somebody who doesn't give a shit about boats came up with that one.

I kind of wish I had a smaller boat sometimes.

I'm actually thinking of getting a powerboat. Something in the 34 foot range with twin 350s or 454s. Then getting a smaller day sailer that I can trailer.

Sounds like truly the best of both worlds!

Like one of and one of .

Funny, here I thought the gals were gonna love big ol , and they kind of do, but they totally liked sailing on the Cal20 better. I just need to take them to prettier places in the big boat, no doubt.

I think there is more excitement on a smaller sailboat. An S2 7.9 was the most fun boat I had. When I moved up in size for more comfort I lost some of that fun. Now I'm to the point where I want the convenience of a powerboat (I'm thinking a 34 Sundancer or equivalent), but I want the exhilaration of smaller sailboat. Plus I want to be able to visit some of the inland lakes around me and have a boat to sail on it.

Idk, I'm even considering a Hobie Cat.
