AMD is very much doing well. The question is if the stock has more room to grow since it is already trading at such a high P/E. With INTC trading at a low P/E, I feel it is a much better place to park some money atm. I feel you on the nostalgia! I had an AMD 1100 Thunderbird. That was a nice machine back in the day. I actually still have the mobo and CPU in a closet somewhere.
