I've heard about Robinhood. Seems a decent option to get started. At least they're not as shady with their practices as something like Stash Invest.

Etrade is pretty solid imo. That's who I use. I have a chase brokerage account too, but their mobile app sucks.

No problem. Couple of resources:
Just remember, don't try to time the market, you're not going to. Buy and sell when you're comfortable with the prices and returns and don't look back. There's always going to be more opportunity.
