I have 1 certitude and 2 quasi certitudes; 1) No amount of helicopter money/"stimulus" is going to fix the economic paralysis the world has fallen into due to supply lines and factories (and schools and shit) brought to a halt by the pandemic. It's like looking for a software based solution for a hardware problem, if you can come up with a hack, at best, that's already great. And 2) They will go for helicopter money anyway in order to buy time in the vain hope that a solution will emerge before they run out of ammo
And we haven't seen anything yet, that's for the certitude
The real economic carnage is yet to come, the real life consequences tsunami hasn't hit the shorefront, yet
