The truck on the right is older than 25 years old. The truck on the left is designed to fail in 7 years on purpose and was put together by UAW morons.

A buddy of mine has a four wheel drive jap truck. Even has a tommy lift on it. It’s outfitted for desert prospecting. I gotta say I’d take it over a side by side any day. You’re not get two dry washers, two shop vacs, a generator, two jerry cans of gas, two stacks of buckets, four metal detectors, shovels, picks, pry bars, a cooler, water cooler and a 10x10 pop up shade on a side by side. It has gotten us to anywhere we’ve wanted to go with no problem. Places your not gonna get a 4x4 truck into.

That said, he lives very close to the hills we go into. The farthest out from town on paved road we go is thirty miles out to the dirt with some steep hills get’n there. It doesn’t do those hills fast, but it does them no problem. Off the road it has gone anywhere we’ve wanted to go. I’m talk’n rough shit. Up tight washes with deep sand and boulders to dodge. Yeah, that thing is bad ass. Even has AC! Roll the windows up and enjoy the cool clean air blowing on you when you get stuck behind a side by side kicking up dust.

Once the gear is off the bed it makes for a nice off the ground sleeping platform too. Back it under the 10x10 shade if it’s raining. Definitely has some big advantages over any other vehicle I’ve seen for these purposes. Its ability to get us into some places you’d think it couldn’t go amazes me every time. Get’n gear into places others can’t has paid off quite well many times.

Sounds a lot like my 2009 Tacoma 4x4. It also has a built in rectifier to produce 120V AC that could power the shop vacs, lights, other stuff that doesn't draw too much current.

Those adventures sound like a blast!

Yeah, I have an ’06 Tundra which is the same size as today’s Tacoma without the modern conveniences that has performed really well for me out there, but that jap truck is just too cool for slipping into those tight areas so there’s no humping gear up a wash past where the trucks can go.

Yep, either way it’s been a blast!

I had a 1999 Tacoma 4x4 V6 ex-cab short bed that was about 6" skinnier than this 2009. I liked it much better for the tight spots. I wouldn't buy a newer Tacoma, they are too damned big now for getting through the tight trails ... which is why I started buying little Toyota trucks 40+ years ago. Toyota needs to introduce a new little truck with dimensions, capabilities, pricing of 40 years ago. My first new 1983 4x4 Shortbed regular cab SR5 was just over $7K.

I bet neither truck could haul around the fat-ass hamplanet who made such a stupid meme. She clearly hates men because no one will touch her fat ass other than a nigger.

[–] 4 pts

I don't think I can haul logs with that little toy.

It doesn't look like it could put a 14' aluminum fishing boat in the water.

That said, it would be cool if those little things were available in the US, I'm sure they could fill certain roles for businesses.

Be great to have on the job site. Running up and down mountains all day sux when you're old.

[–] 1 pt

It's not meant to pull a 14' aluminum fishing boat either. It is what 90% of people going to their home improvement box store of choice needs.

Our regulations are so stupid and needs to be rethought. CAFE is a horrible metric to gauge a manufacturers fuel efficiency. I saw a GM similar to the one in the photo yesterday, it hung out of the parking space by 3 feet and was a huge blind spot creator.

True. But this makes it a specific vehicle for a specific job, practical for some small businesses, and handymen only. Where an American truck can do any number of things.

CAFE is a horrible metric to gauge a manufacturers fuel efficiency.

Yes sir!

The tax on light trucks entering the US is dumb as fuck too. It is essentially a ban.

[–] 1 pt

An if you could, you would have to do it alone since cabin can't fit two adult men.

Kei-class trucks aren't exactly common in the USA. I think I've probably seen a half-dozen over the years.

College campuses use them a lot

[–] 1 pt

I've seen Gators at schools but never these mini trucks.

[–] 1 pt

Never seen them on the big one here.

Someone owns one on Kelleys Island. It is usually in the Caddy Shack parking lot. That's the only one I've ever seen that I can think of. I could see where it would be a practical vehicle there.

[–] 1 pt

I've seen a couple of them down here, including one brave soul that was trying to take one down 270 at rush hour. Flat-out full speed 45MPH.

Other than that, I've seen a couple on new car lots, probably special ordered.

[–] 1 pt

trying to take one down 270 at rush hour.

That dude has a death wish.

[–] 1 pt

Rush hour is probably the best time to take it on 270 at 45mph or less.

This reads and looks like a comedy movie script.

Having seen some videos about the Kei truck on the right, I'd be more inclined to get one of those. It fills a need that I occasionally have that the Silverado is too large to do.

I have a 2013 Silveraldo 1500 full crew cab. It's a fucking piece of shit. It has faggy ass fuel efficency half power mode where it will disable 4 of 8 cylinders under sometimes seeming random conditions. This and the soft as fuck piston rings means it eats almost as much oil as gas. This makes the plugs constantly fouled, TPS burns out about every 8 months, and the electronic gas pedal has the wiring harness positioned in such a way that if your foot slips off the pedal you are going to stomp the back of the connector breaking the wires and/or plug. The paint job was obviously done by niggers because it has peeled off in many places with no signs of prior damage. It also has the issue where it will constantly shut off the gas pump when trying to fuel up, except for the E85 shit which seems to fill fine at least it's cheaper and the truck just seems to run better on the vodkaline.

I haven't had any experience with the chinkmobile but I would get one if I had the money to spare. I live quite rural and it would be great for short trips to town where 45mph max is not an issue. Also moving shit around my land would be easier with a smaller hauler like one of these.

My buddy got his ‘98 Suzuki Carry for 3 grand. Lowest I’ve been able to find one is 5-6 grand. They are great lil’ work horses for rural situations. Patience is the name of the game to get one below 5 grand it seems.

The little commie truck is about as useful as a golf cart. Leave it to some zoomer commie youf that is gullible enough to believe this shit.

This like saying that a 280 lbs Dwayne Johnson and a 280 lbs troon are equally attractive.

[–] 1 pt

'.... but They both suck dics and have loose bowel movements '

[–] 0 pt

Jewish film executives aren't paying millions of dollars to troons to fuck them in the ass, though.

[–] 1 pt

Both trucks are the same. The beds can hold the same amount of cargo or people. Although, one truck is a little more comfortable for ten people to ride in.
