are you saying that national socialists were about to become communists right before they lost the war and that at the same time that the russian communists were about to become socialists?

That would have been fantastic if those two to trajectories had crossed at that point in time.

when the person posting claims to live in Europe it does become a matter of whether you’re using the British or the American definition of these terms.

I was kind of hoping that someone would pick up on the fact that the real difference between communism and socialism is that you are not allowed to own private property under one of those systems.

Or are we not even in agreement that these are economic terms and not political terms?
