They started trying to kike the faith as early as the book of Galatians, where Paul denounced the synagogue of Satan, the “judaizers,” for wanting to infuse the pure simple faith in God with bullshit traditions, ceremonies, and rituals of talmudic judaism. Rome just codified the work of the “judaizers.”
