So I helped a lady friend move some stuff for about an hour or so yesterday and she wrote me a $100 chase check. So I take it to chase to cash the check this morning at a chase branch and the kikes charged $10 to cash their branches check giving me back $90. I know it's not much but it's the principle that pisses me off. We are struggling and $10 will get you 2 whole gallons and the kikes now want to take that from us as well. I should have put this under rants but I'm definitely moving over to crypto and banks rob you.

That's a good question and more than likely with the way things are seaming more and more lately.

It's usually a 3-5% with a maximum. The maximum in this case being $10. So my guess would be, if you cashed a $5 check, you'd receive $4.75-$4.85.

I wouldn't say fair. They're literally nickel and diming you.
