I think there's some truth in what they say. Our skin produces oils naturally to maintain function, why would we strip them away every day and dry our skin out? Wash as needed, and stop eating like crap. Most body odor (from what I've read in the past, anyway) comes from not the sweat and oils you naturally produce, but the sugars and yeasts you secrete which bacteria feed off of. Let's also bear in mind the electricity and water you waste every time you bathe unnecessarily.

Yes. That's one way your body releases toxins is via your sweat. The sweat itself isn't the problem.
