There was a study in 2004 (based on data from the USA and Australia) that showed that not even 3% of people treated with chemo where still alive after 5 years; not necessarily cured, just alive. Also, for certain type of cancer, the percentage of survivor was 0%.
If anybody has info on a more recent study, please share.
