They've actually been waiting for some backlash so they can ramp up the kvetching and crack down on those who have laid low all this time.
Once they start doing that the ones who laid low will start showing up in their bed rooms with a garrote wire. I prefer piano wire or a guitar string wrapped around two wooden handles. It will decapitate.
Don't think that'll work for them in the long-run.
I never met a psychologist who didn't need severe and extensive psychological intervention and work. Not saying they don't exist, I just never met one.
