I've been there. I learned to remove myself from politics and see them all as AIPAC dogs. As far as the state of the world, its easy to just live in my little unaffected world and enjoy my family. I decide who gets in my circle. I built something. Even if I were single, I would be in a cabin in a rural place and have a couple good women visit me once in a while but focus on working my land.
