I'm just guessing, this is his way of staying out of a possible lawsuit against his platform by a government agency (or multiple agencies) on behalf of the people. (I'm aware, even that's a stretch.)
He's married to his Chinese handler, as far as foreign influence goes. Only half of the shit he's pulled came at the direction of isreal. Beyond that, all major platforms could possibly have influence purchased by foreign entities. (Stretching, again.)

I believe that the former X (twitter) owner, Jack Dorsey, was converted (by force or by contractual agreement) to islam. He took money from one to get it started. The last interview I saw him give, he had a beard down to his chest. No White skinned billionaire, I've ever seen, has had a beard like that. I believe he was relieved of Twitter, it wasn't sold. It was taken from him to eliminate muslim influence on the world. (Most notably, Americans.) Who could have been capable of this? Someone high up in the American government. It was then given to Musk, die to his wealth, he could not be bought. No worries about him selling out and being corrupt. He's got so many very big government contracts. No way he would mess that up for a measly few million.
