I have looked extensively for why Israel is our greatest ally, but I can't find anything they've done other than stab us in the back. Is there one clear example where they've done something good for us? One?

This why the F-22 Raptor fighter was cancelled. We aren't making any more of arguably the best air superiority fighter in the world because of some kind clause that we'd have to offer some of the 2nd batch to israel.
