please excuse jewtube link. The one that I was thinking of was more "subterranean base" I still remember it because what creeped me out about it was how "would never see the sun" and that stuck with me.

No way could I live like that, or work. I've visited some underground bunkers during my time in military and it was very unnerving and claustrophobic.
Also visited quite a few caves for recreational purposes and spent about 2 hours in one. Completely different story, very comfortable and peaceful places.
