A bit of excess morphine would be better then letting people starve to death. The being is still alive and feels, even though the mind can't remember and is mostly in a sleep-like state. WTF is going on with starving them? That's fucking cruel. If they don't have insurance for hospice care, there will be a helluva lot of screaming heard the last couple of days.
