I am afraid that you are correct and some anon had a theory about why this is kicking of right now even though it's the dead of winter. He posited that with all of the USAID money being cut off and then with Venezuela being taken off of the map (they laundered massive amounts of drug profits to the commie NGOs) it seems that the bad guys are just plain old running out of money and they'd better use it or lose it.
