We used to pick and eat puffballs, but that was it. They are a big white ball, and if you cut them open it should be pure white mushroom. If you see a cap or gills developing you throw it away because it's poisonous. I wouldn't fuck with anything else. Death caps and destroying angels will just flat out kill you, it's horribly painful, and there is no antidote.
