Yeah. Who the fuck buys new "outfits" for thanksgiving with friends/family? I don't know anyone who has ever done that.

Travel, I get that can be expensive but like you said. Not typical (not for most at least). Decorations, also unneeded, the point is to be together not to care about the decorations.

This is just stupid. Whoever wrote this shit has got to be so disconnected with "normal people" that they are doing anything possible to be like "Orange man made Thanksgiving suck". No, you are just a moron.

Everyone I know is going to wear loose fitting comfortable clothes because we're all planning on eating a lot, like putting on 2 lbs after that one meal. Maybe falling asleep on the couch after. It is all about being as comfortable as possible while we digest and not feel so groggy for the drive home. I like to host because I don't have to go anywhere and when people leave, I get to sleep in my own bed right away.
