Wanderlust, and the first time the the DMV tied my "social security" number to my California I.D.

My "social security" card had printed on the back "NOT TO BE USED AS IDENTIFICATION". In all caps.

When the SS law was passed nobody wanted a Fed I.D. number so it was written into the law that it could not be used in that fashion. Fast forward however many years and (((they))) started doing just that. The writing was on the wall so I just gtfo'd.

Been living under the system ever since, as much as is possible in this day and age.
