That's a LOT of three-oh-hate!
It's a strange story. They had Visa's, flew into Denver (DIA). Bought the van (they had money for a cargo van apparently)? Drove down to Utah and bought all of the ammo from a store, started driving it back to Colorado but the driver(s) didn't know exactly where it was going other than "Pueblo".
Sounds like it was gang related. Possibly even Cartel. The way they got pulled over makes it sound like the cops knew who they were looking for too.
My guess is that the store owner tipped off the cops.
If that is true, why did the store owner sell to them at all? How did they even get out of Utah and back to Colorado without being pulled over?
The last thing that a gun store owner would want to be public knowledge would be that they ratted out one of their clients and probably asked the cops to contact the Sheriff one state over.
You just don't pull some spics over in sanctuary state Colorado without a damn good reason for it, especially for a broken licence plate bulb. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
