It's doublethink. Vegans don't eat animals, insects are animals, therefore "Ento-Veganism" is contradictory. Anyone who would call themselves that is the ultimate NPC. They simply receive orders and don't even think about them enough to notice when they're gibberish. It seems harmless but someone like that would kill their own family if they were told to do so.
