Article explains the origin of cockpit.. thats great. Doesn't mention that 'manpower' is short for human power (as opposed to horse power or mechanical power). I would have never guessed cockpit originated from rooster fighting.. etymology is fascinating. I also didn't realize 'flight deck' was woke gender neutral speak. I'll never use that term again.
