Why is it that other than a season end hockey award, none of the people I know have ever heard of a Stanley until 2 weeks ago when stories about it became non stop....

Good marketing or is something else?

Same. I have never heard of this shit or seen anyone use one, until about two weeks ago when everyone everywhere started talking about them all at once...

Feels strange, right?

Honestly it's popularity doesn't surprise me. I used Stanlies everyday to make coffee for work and take food to work. My mom used to swear by them. I leveled up and bought different products after a while but did use Stanley for a long time. They're standard "good" thermoses. Bastards putting lead in it!

I knew lots of men at work who used them. I would be shocked if anyone at work didn't at least know the brand.

No, it is that I have never heard of or seen this brand before at all, anywhere, ever. I've a lot of jobs, including outdoors manual labor, a job that guys need a water bottle for. Seen plenty of Nalgene bottles, overpriced Hydroflasks, all the brands and fads, etc.

I feel like this brand didn't exist three weeks ago, and now it does.

I've had a stanley thermos and lunchbox I've used for decades. It's a 100 year old brand that made some sparkly colors and suddenly became popular.

Wonder if the CEO of YEDI refused to do do DEI or something

Stanley Tools and Stanley Steemer. Neither of which are affiliated with the poisoned chalice.

I eat solder, so this is of no importance to me.

Well, lead poisoning would explain why these idiots are doing such stupid shit to get these cups. Would also explain why drinks from them taste so much better than from other vessels

The Leadening.

Hahahahaha.

Wait! You mean to say, jews are slowly poisoning us?

Stanley products are manufactured in Brazil and China with suppliers who meet our high quality and ethical standards.

China. Every time lead is involved I immediately think of China. It may be owned by an Israeli company but it is manufactured in China.

All Stanley products are designed and tested in our Seattle, Washington headquarters to make sure they meet Stanley's Built for Life™ expectations.

And they're Socialist, too.

Probably tested by shitskin diversity hires.

that explains the post the other day of a mom getting caught shoplifting all those stanley cups, she was trying to save people from getting lead poisoning.

So one day it happened after drinking all her cous' Don Julio tequila stash, Senorita Garcia-Lopez-Jesus-Maria-What-The-Fuck strolled into her local Costco in Spicville, CA, and loaded up every Stanley drinking cup into the huge cart.

The she-taco shuffled past the receipt checker with not so much a bloodshot-eyed glance or pause.

She loaded up her dirty ol' base-model Mustang with two-year-old expired plates like a gangbanger coyote pro, but the quick-responding policia got the wetback puta because of her lethargy around siesta time.

Shame, Stanley of old was made in the USA and actually decent stuff.
