Yea, when I fly a plane, I want inspired young pilots who have barely no flight experience so they can learn how to fly. That's exciting! Instead, I get boring old white men.
I'm sure it had nothing at all to do with paying kids less.
Same with my surgeons. I want young guys with fresh ideas rather than experienced guys who know what they're doing
Unfortunately, I spent time thinking about this more. It occurred to me, perhaps boring old white men like us didn't find anything attractive about climbing inside a metal tube 12 thousand feet underwater in an uncertified machine. I certainly would not have been a passenger. However, brainwashed kids would not have a problem with that. Especially if you hand them a video game controller.
