But either way, due to the release of oxytocin, every time a woman has sex with a man (decreasing with number of partners) there is a physical change to how her brain is wired to that man. This is why women “cling” to a guy once they have sex. So a woman will always be most connected to her first sexual partner. Eventually the effect is so minor they cannot form a realistic long lived bond.
