They won't be able to ban them without upsetting the lgb community. "Taste the rainbow" I'm surprised Skittles hasn't already called in on that sponsorship

Californians shouldn’t have to worry that the food they buy in their neighborhood grocery store might be full of dangerous additives or toxic chemicals.

But mRNA, GMOs, dioxins, fluoride and many others are safe and effective.

Everything in California causes cancer. Especially the politicians.

Titanium dioxide is a common white pigment, and I'd bet it's only present in the "S" marked on each candy. Probably wouldn't be that difficult to change. Even so, CA's paranoia of anything that is a "chemical" is irritating.

The yummy compounds produced by grilling meat are more cancerous than some of the stuff they're banning. Oh wait, I shouldn't say that, they'll ban meat next.

I’m torn on this one.

Facts:

  • many countries ban so much shit that’s freely sold in the foods here.
  • I have zero faith in the FDA or large corporations to do what’s in the best interest of me an my family
  • I have a very strong science background, but have no idea what I’m reading when I look at ingredients lists.

Those three things are fact, and I don’t like any of it. So when I see that people might actually be holding this fucks accountable for producing actual food, I’m encouraged. At the same time, though, it’s California..,fuck them.

One of the largest sectors in California is farming, this just looks to me like they are trying to cut down on the competition. Lord knows it's not about public health, you couldn't find a single person in the Californian government that actually cares about the citizens of the state.

There has to be an ulterior motive.

The more shit they ban the better the black market gets. I think they might actually be trying to make the world depicted in demolition Man a real thing.

Quote from article

"Jesse Gabriel put out a press release last month stating: “Californians shouldn’t have to worry that the food they buy in their neighborhood grocery store might be full of dangerous additives or toxic chemicals.”

"Many of the dangerous additives currently banned in the EU and other nations are found in processed foods and candies that are marketed to children, low-income consumers, and communities of color in the United States," the release states. "

Oh so it's bad if it hurts black people, but Fuck white people, white people don't matter I guess.
