I would rather die fighting than live like this.

I would rather die fighting than live like this.

Kek, had a Czech girlfriend at that time (who could easily have been a supermodel) that convinced me that moving to one of those hellholes was a good idea when we had to downsize. I literally said, "I would never live in one of those things!" and she just looked at me like I was from a different planet.

She grew up in one and to her it was completely normal that they had to paint fruit on the sides of the building so that children could find their way home ( knows what I am talking about but to anyone else reading this these commie blocks are square kilometers of buildings that all looked exactly the same). A completely different mindset. Anyways, after I got back on my feet I moved back downtown to an extremely expensive and luxurious apartment and have never looked back.

Since then I got married to another Czech lady and have been with her for almost 17 years (pss..don't tell my mrs.) but I still miss the other one just a bit. She was a small town girl that was an amazing bit of arm candy.

edit: I forgot, most Western people wouldn't understand "lived there permanently" so here is the explanation:

The government decided where you would live, where you would work and where you would go to school. Period. End of story. It was an abysmal system (communism) which left millions of people happy when after waiting in a 3 hour line on your day off that you got a a single banana.

Lads, you cannot let communism take root in America.

You wouldn't have me living anywhere near them. It's not that it was a rough area or anything, all people there were workers who cared about their status. The wort thing is the overall sense of oppressive depression and sadness that hanger around those areas.

Most people have no idea what real communism is, if they knew, they would be up in arms and on the streets already.
