I remember when they put signs up all over glacier national park telling about how all the glaciers would be gone in the next 10 years or whatever. The deadline came and went and all the glaciers were still there. Rather than address the issue they just went around and quietly took all the signs down. That was awhile back and the glaciers are still there to this day. Imagine that.
