Yessir, I even have a couple hit and miss engines on standby in case a line shop needs to be set up. If’n you have to you can run ‘em on wood gas.
Ah, the ole gasifier! Not ideal, but should get your job done.
Tried it out already. A little sluggish on the 6hp, but the 3 1/2 hp does fine with it. Flywheel on that 6 is pretty heavy. Could be the rings though. Cool pieces of equipment really. They ran a great many shops, farms, city utilities and many other things in this country for a good number of years before it became JewSA.
I would think any serious prepper would find them an indespensable piece of equipment to have at the ready.
Interesting how people are shifting towards self sufficiency.
Personally, I believe globalism is officially over. Every one realizes that globalization is a trap.
I've actually made it possible to live off grid, although my house is still connected. I'm ready for the power to go down anytime.
